On Screen Control's setup options allow software adjustments. The text font size is of good practicality. WIN7 comes with a text adjustment of only 150%, but the software can adjust the font to 250%, which is very powerful.
WIN7 support for 4K screen is not very good, WIN10 has improved in this regard.

Of course, you also have precious reason, LG 4K is IPS panel instead of TN panel, 99% sRGB color gamut coverage is not cheap 4K display can be done. 4K screen watching video, indeed cool than 1080P, because the screen becomes larger, the screen has increased, watching video is very lively. As for the game, if there is no strong graphics card, it is not recommended to play in 4K resolution, because 4K resolution is really higher on the graphics card requirements.
If the graphics performance is not enough to support 4K, you can reduce the game to 1080P.
