Beijing Municipal Health Bureau: Three kinds of electric kettles were not punished


The Beijing Municipal Health Bureau announced the results of the sanitary supervision and inspection and sampling inspection of the commercially available electric hot water. Among them, the Ed Electric Kettle and the two Tefu radio kettles were not fined for the approval of the sanitary permit, and their manufacturers were punished by 10,000 yuan respectively.

The Municipal Health Bureau conducted a random inspection of 10 kinds of electric hot water products sold in the market. Oxygen consumption, phenol, nickel, and sensory indicators were examined in accordance with national health standards. All the samples tested were qualified, but there were 3 kinds of products that did not apply for the sanitation license for wading products. They are Ed Electric Kettle produced by Foshan Shunde Aide Industrial Co., Ltd., specification 1.6L, model SC-150B Two Tefu radio kettles produced by Shanghai Saibo Electric Co., Ltd., specifications 1.2L, model 78446 and specifications 1.2L, model BF5100.

It is understood that the absence of a sanitation license indicates that the electric kettle has not been tested by the health authorities after it has been produced, which means that these unconditional electric kettles cannot be sold in the market. According to reports, the illegal manufacturers have been fined 10,000 yuan by the health supervision department.
