The 11 major events will occur in the VR industry in 2017

February 2017 - Netflix introduces the first VR series.

March 2017 - Microsoft Partner Company began launching its first holographic VR headset.

April 2017 - Samsung's new Gear VR will be launched with the Galaxy S8 for eye tracking, better control and more.

July 2017 - NianTIc announces a new AR game.

August 2017 - Facebook launches the naked-eye social VR.

September 2017 - Google announced that it has sold 30 million smartphones that support the Daydream platform and sold 8 million Daydream heads.

September 2017 - HTC Vive 2 (Oasis) is launched with eye tracking, focus rendering and 4K performance, but unlimited connectivity hopes.

September 2017 - Apple finally launched its own Hybrid Reality headset (which is very similar to the Occipital Bridge) for $299.99, which is only available for the iPhone 8 or 8 Plus.

October 2017 - Both Microsoft (Hololens) and Magic Leap will be on their AR/MR products: Microsoft is about to release a consumer version of Hololens and Magic Leap to publish a big news release in early 2018.

October 2017 - The Oculus Rift 2 is launched with features similar to the HTC Vive 2, but with no focus rendering.

December 2017 - Mainstream cable providers enter the VR industry to provide content and headline rental services.
