I. Analysis of the status quo With the acceleration of the social digital informatization process, the equipment and scale of the computer room in the computer center are also expanding. Once the equipment room environment and equipment fail, it will affect the safe operation of the computer system, resulting in data transmission or storage failure. It will cause computer equipment in the computer room to be damaged, and even make the network system paralyzed, resulting in disastrous consequences. Therefore, in order to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the computer system, it is very important to carry out automatic monitoring of the environment and equipment in the equipment room for modern management.
The equipment room environment and power equipment monitoring system is mainly the operation status, temperature, humidity, air quality, power supply voltage, current, etc. of equipment room equipment (such as power supply and distribution system, UPS power supply, air conditioning system, fire protection system, exhaust system, etc.). Frequency, switching status of power distribution system, leak detection system, etc. Real-time monitoring and recording of historical data and recording of failure alarm information provide powerful guarantee for efficient management and safe operation of the engine room.
At present, the development of monitoring system technology is relatively mature. There are many independent brands of computer room dedicated monitoring systems on the domestic market. Second, the system implemented Beijing IBM Yizhuang data center, we chose the SAIA PCD2.M480 controller, monitoring, control of field devices and end sensors. 73 I/O points, 6 sets of precision air-conditioners, 2 UPSs, 2 diesel generator sets, 2 main power distribution cabinets, and 6 counters via RS485 interface, using fieldbus protocol for communication. Through the RS232 interface and mobile phone SMS alarm communication, and finally through the Ethernet into the computer management system. We have selected 6 I/O modules, 1 Ethernet Communication Module, 2 RS232/485 communication modules, using WINDOWS 2000/XP operating system, MCGS configuration software.

1, system features:
The system can realize unified monitoring of subsystems such as power supply and distribution, UPS, diesel generator, precision air conditioning, fire protection, water leakage, fresh air system, and temperature and humidity detection, and alert the administrator when these subsystems fail.

The system has the functions of protection, measurement, metering and monitoring. It consists of two parts, the on-site control system and the upper station.
2, control principle:
The field control system formed by SAIA PCD realizes the collection and processing of real-time operating parameters of various intelligent devices or subsystems, including: distribution system, UPS system, diesel generator system, fresh air, air conditioning system, precision air conditioning monitoring, Room temperature and humidity monitoring, leaking system, office lighting control, environmental monitoring, exhaust system and fire linkage.
With the development of computer technology, a considerable number of manufacturers' devices are smart devices that can be connected to them via fieldbus communication to read data, which greatly saves cost and debugging time. The power distribution system, UPS system, diesel generator system, and precision air conditioning system in this system are all realized by RS485 fieldbus protocol communication for data acquisition. The system descriptions are as follows:
(1). The power distribution system monitors the operating status of two Schneider circuit breakers and six Schneider electric power parameter meters via a Modbus fieldbus.
Detect the voltage, current, frequency, power, power factor and other parameters of the power distribution cabinet circuit breaker and multi-function electricity meters, and detect the status of the power distribution switch, and send mobile phone alarm messages when the switch is faulty or disconnected.
(2). The UPS system monitors the operating status of the 2 Merlin Gerin UPSs via the Modbus fieldbus.
Monitor UPS input, output voltage, current, frequency and other parameters to monitor UPS inverter, rectifier, and other operational status monitoring.
(3). Diesel generators
Through the Modbus fieldbus, the working conditions of the 2 Merlin Gerin diesel generators are monitored.
Monitor diesel generator operating status and fault alarms.
Monitor its voltage, current, frequency, power and other parameters.
(4). Fresh air, air conditioning system

(7). The leaking system monitors the leakage status of the precision air conditioning and water pipe joints in the engine room and performs a leak alarm.
(8). The office lighting control automatically controls the lighting of the office area. If it is after work, holidays can automatically turn off the lights.
(9). Environmental monitoring
The system alarm signal can be sent directly to the relevant person's mobile phone.
(10). Exhaust system exhaust fan can be controlled by schedule (timed exhaust), but also can be manually forced control.
(11). The fire linkage system is linked with the fire protection system and the fire alarm signal is sent via SMS. When the fire occurs, the new air, air conditioning and exhaust system are closed. After the eruption is over, you can manually exhaust the air through the corresponding exhaust switch.

Third, the configuration software describes the monitoring software using MCGS configuration software, with the host operating station installed SAIA PCD's OPC SEVER software. ETHERNET / TCP / IP with the host operating station to complete the communication.
The central workstation composed of MCGS realizes the collection and processing of on-site data, and displays the system status to the user in various ways such as animation display, alarm processing, flow control, and report output.
