Products with higher technological content and additional value, such as automobiles, ships, and aircraft, have become the main growth targets for new exports. China's export market for electromechanical products has reached 225 countries and regions. Emerging market share has increased from 26.1% to 33.1%, with an increase of more than 40%.
Jiang Yaoping stated that electromechanical and high-tech products are important carriers for China's transformation of foreign trade growth mode, and are the key to China's transition from a big trading country to a powerful trading nation. In the next five years, the China Electromechanical Technology Industry Business System will strive to achieve "5 new breakthroughs," including new breakthroughs in structural adjustment, new breakthroughs in market diversification, new breakthroughs in active import strategies, and new breakthroughs in transformation and upgrading of processing trade. New breakthroughs have been made in the internationalization of strategic emerging industries.
