1. **Water Great Wall Medium Pressure Air-Insulated Switchgear Manufacturing Digital Workshop**
This project was launched in 2015 as part of the national smart manufacturing development initiative. The digital workshop includes eight subsystems covering processing, assembly, inspection, logistics, and management, making it a classic example of discrete manufacturing. It successfully passed its acceptance test on November 20, 2016, in Tianshui, Gansu Province.
In the machining phase, multiple CNC machine tools are interconnected, and CAD and CAM systems are seamlessly integrated. At the workshop level, processing, assembly, and testing equipment are connected through an MES system, allowing for full informatization of production. Technologies such as numerical control, automated warehousing, robotics, machine vision, and optimized scheduling have significantly improved the level of manufacturing intelligence.
By integrating various technologies, the project has achieved automation in inspection, CNC machining, warehouse operations, manufacturing intelligence, and information management. It has realized the goals of "product upgrading, capacity upgrading, and management upgrading." In terms of automation and intelligence, it is at the leading edge nationally and internationally.
2. **Weichai Power WP5/7 Series Engine Flexible Automatic Assembly Production Line**
Launched in 2012, this project focuses on the assembly and testing of Weichai's WP5/7 series engines, with an annual production target of 100,000 units. Its level of automation, informatization, and integration has reached (or even exceeded) that of similar German equipment. The project was accepted on December 29, 2014, in Weifang, Shandong.
The production line includes the final assembly line, test pre-installation line, test line, painting line, and more. An integrated information management system enables flexible assembly of diesel engines in any order. The valve lock piece assembly and testing use fully automatic equipment with independent patents, a first in China.
The line features integrated task management, intelligent fault diagnosis, model and orientation recognition, automatic transfer, flow control, automatic tightening and leak detection, and real-time tracking of assembly information. This ensures high-level information integration, stable production rhythm, and minimal manual intervention. The PDM system serves as the core, integrating with CAPP, ERP, MES, and lean pull systems.
3. **Jiangsu Shenghong Chemical Fiber Intelligent Logistics System**
As one of the first intelligent manufacturing projects in the country, this project overcame technical challenges through collaboration between Beizi and Shenghong. It developed advanced intelligent equipment and systems, achieving international standards and leading the industry in equipment upgrades and intelligent transformation. The project was completed in Jiangsu on December 5, 2014, with a total investment of 87.41 million yuan.
Key technologies include wire coil information binding, high-speed and high-precision positioning of stackers, robotic gripper flexibility, intelligent winding, and dispatching software. The entire process from wire car handling to palletizing is automated, significantly improving quality and efficiency in the chemical fiber industry.
**Intelligent Manufacturing System Solutions**
To promote smart manufacturing, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology initiated the Smart Manufacturing System Solution Provider Alliance on November 30, 2016, bringing together over 50 industry units.
