The 220V battery pack, composed of 19 individual 12V batteries connected in series (12V/only*19), undergoes a continuous discharge for 1 hour using a pre-discharge current of 2I10. During this period, a surge current of 22I10 is applied for 0.5 seconds without interrupting the pre-discharge current. This test simulates real-world conditions where sudden high-current demands may occur. Throughout the entire process, the terminal voltage of the battery pack must remain above 202V when the surge current is applied. This requirement ensures that the battery system maintains sufficient voltage stability under extreme load conditions, which is critical for applications where power continuity and reliability are essential. The test helps evaluate the battery's ability to handle both sustained and transient high-current loads without significant voltage drop, ensuring safe and efficient performance in practical use cases.
