By 2016, the demonstration application of LED energy-saving street lamps will reach 100,000 baht, which will make Nanchang a competitive LED industrialization base in China and the world.

Opinion: 21 pilot cities can't be too hasty

The pilot cities actively promote LED lighting. However, some pilot cities have encountered an unavoidable problem in the deployment and promotion work: Which brand of street lamps or tunnel lights are used? Experts pointed out that 21 pilot cities should not be too hasty, project promotion should be steadily advanced, and should not be used for other purposes; strict expert group review and supervision system should be established, strictly follow the procedures, and adopt the method of establishing model roads and demonstration projects.
