The figure shows the circuit using the TC650l open-drain output control current set point (Set-Point). When the temperature sensed by the TC6501 exceeds the limit, the open-drain output on pin/Tover will change the reference voltage on pin VREF of MCP1630, causing the driver output on pin VEXT of MCP1630 to turn off.
