OneAccess acquires Indian company BA Systems and continues to expand beyond Europe
Paris and Bangalore, India, January 13, 2010-OneAccess, the European leader in multiservice access routers, today announced the acquisition of BA Systems, an Indian router manufacturer based in Bangalore.
The BA Systems business includes the design and sale of the Integrated Service RouTIng platform. This acquisition complements the OneAccess service platform. BA Systems currently has more than 100 customers, of which 10 are Internet Service Providers (ISP) / Management Service Providers (MSP), and nearly 50 customers are the leading companies on the Indian BT 1000 ranking.
Through a strong alliance, BA Systems and OneAccess will provide more product options at a price that meets India's national conditions, and realize localized R & D and customization in India. The newly formed OneAccess Company will not only expand One's product lineup, but also continue to provide the Indian market with more and most successful BA Systems product lines, including the EN3500, EN2400 and BA2000 series.
