The Three Gorges Group and the State Nuclear Power establish a strategic cooperative relationship

China Three Gorges Corporation announced on the 15th that the group company has recently signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the National Nuclear Power Technology Corporation in Beijing to formally establish a strategic partnership.

The strategic cooperation framework agreement signed by the two parties made an agreement on the key cooperation content and the strategic cooperation mechanism. Cao Guangjing, Chairman and Party Group Secretary of China Three Gorges Corporation, said that nuclear power, like hydropower, is an important way to optimize and adjust China's energy structure, reduce environmental pollution, and achieve comprehensive, coordinated, and sustainable development of energy. It has broad prospects for development and the Three Gorges Group will Signed a strategic cooperation agreement as an opportunity to make positive contributions to China's energy development.

It is understood that in its "12th Five-Year Plan," the Three Gorges Group has stated clearly that in the next five years, the company will strengthen its strategic cooperation with leading energy groups and scientific research institutions at home and abroad, actively participate in nuclear power site selection, and seek a large proportion of equity participation. Opportunities, training and reserve nuclear power personnel, and strive for nuclear power development qualifications.
