Sichuan Accelerates Phase-out of Incandescent Energy-saving Lamps

At present, many supermarkets have stopped selling incandescent lamps, and manufacturers have also chasing profits to switch to energy-saving lamps.

The National Development and Reform Commission recently phased out incandescent lamps and released the "China Roadmap for Phase-out Incandescent Lamps (Draft for Soliciting Opinions)". According to the plan, incandescent lamps for general lighting will be gradually phased out from October 1 this year, and sales and import of incandescent lamps for general lighting of 15 watts or more will be prohibited on October 1, 2016. According to industry insiders, the complete elimination of incandescent lamps is conducive to the transformation of the industry, but it also faces challenges such as high prices, non-standard products, and unreliable recycling channels.

5 years after the policy completely eliminates ordinary incandescent lamps

China is a major producer and consumer of incandescent lamps. Last year, incandescent lamp production and domestic sales were 3.85 billion and 1.07 billion, respectively.

According to the National Development and Reform Commission’s plan, the target product for phase-out is incandescent lamps for general lighting, but it does not include incandescent lamps, spotlights, decorative lamps, and other types of incandescent lamps, and incandescent lamps for special purposes.

From the perspective of the roadmap, the year after October 1 this year is the transitional period. Starting from October 1, 2012, it is prohibited to sell and import incandescent lamps for general lighting of 100 watts or more; 60 watts from October 1, 2014. And above prohibition; from 1 October 2016, 15 watts or more are prohibited. It is said that the finalized version of the "China Roadmap for Phase-out Incandescent Lamps" will be formally released on October 1 this year.

Thermocouple Wire is a cable made from two dissimilar metals which called postive leg and negative leg for the purpose of measuring temperature.  This wire is used in thermocouple sensors and very important devices used to measure temperatures in various environments. Thermocouple grade wire is used in the probe of the sensing device. Thermocouple grade and extension wires are important elements of temperature-sensing devices used throughout many industries. It`s crucial for engineers to understand the characteristics and differences between the two types of wires. Normally it has different type like type K, Type J, Type T, Type E, Type L, Type N, Type R. It also has Thermocouple Extension Wire and Thermocouple Compensation Wire.

Structure:

Conductor: Positive leg and negative leg depends on thermocouple type.

Insulation: PVC, Silicone, Teflon, fiberglass insulated.

Braiding: fiberglass braiding.

Sheath: PVC, Silicone, Teflon, fiberglass braided.

Shield: Stainless steel or tinned copper wire.

Color: Can be customized.

Application temperature range: -40℃~+1100℃

Typical application: Thermocouple wire is typically used to connect a thermocouple to a sensing device. Thermocouple cable and thermocouple strip for use at temperatures up to 1260°C (2300 °F).
