More importantly, LTE has effectively increased the ARPU value of users and brought tangible revenue growth to operators. According to Strategy AnalyTIcs statistics, the average ARPU value of global LTE users in 2012 was as high as US $ 55.2, much higher than other major mobile communication technology standards. With the development of the market, the ARPU value of LTE will gradually decline, but by 2017, LTE will remain the mobile communication technology with the highest ARPU value.

Strategy AnalyTIcs predicts that in the next five years, global LTE network business revenue will achieve a compound growth rate of 66.6%. By 2016, LTE is expected to surpass WCDMA and become the mobile communication technology with the highest business revenue. By 2017, LTE business revenue will account for 41% of global mobile communications business revenue.
