LG OLED TV is on sale in China

However, it has been reported recently that due to the decision-making level, LG's plan to sell OLED TVs in mainland China is basically ruined this year, and the release time may be delayed until some time next year.
Some insiders said that the main reason for the slow development of the OLED TV market is that the products are immature and the production capacity is not supported. Due to the upstream factors, the downstream market has been slow to start. In addition, the low yield of OLED panels and the high price of terminal products are also important factors that restrict their development.
LG abandoned China's high-end color TV market?
According to foreign media reports, LG Electronics began to launch curved OLED TVs in stages in Germany and other European countries this week, and will be officially released next month. This is another major move by LG to expand its foreign high-end market after South Korea in May and the United States in July.
Some insiders analyzed that the advancement of LG OLED TV in the Chinese market may be delayed, perhaps indicating that LG has considered giving up the high-end TV market in China.
According to the data obtained by other reporters from Zhongyi Kang, the market share of LG TV in China from January to June was only 2.19%, ranking 12th. Industry analyst Liang Zhenpeng said that the quality reputation and market share of LG TV in the Chinese market has been declining. It is farther away from the high-end market. The possibility of LG regaining the market with high-end products is very small. Therefore, it is not impossible to give up the high-end market in China. .
