LeTV TV X3-55: Install a Sofa Butler via USB Drive
[Installation Guide]
1. Download the Sofa Butler Installation File
2. Connect the USB Drive to the TV
3. Access the File Management on the TV
4. Open the USB Drive and Install the Software
5. Complete the Installation
Step 1: First, visit the official website of the Sofa Butler and download the installation package. You can find the download links for versions V4 and V5 at the following address: http://example.com.
Step 2: Once downloaded, copy the installation file onto a USB drive. Insert the USB into your LeTV TV. Do not open the file manager immediately.
Step 3: Navigate to the “Settings†menu and select “System Settings.â€
Step 4: Look for the “General†option and click to enter.
Step 5: Find the “Security†section and enable the “Unknown Sources†option. This allows the TV to install apps from external sources.
Once this is enabled, return to the home screen and locate the “File Management†app.
Step 6: Choose “Storage Device†and then select “External Storage.â€
Step 7: Locate the Sofa Butler installation file on the USB drive and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
After successfully installing the Sofa Butler, you’ll be able to access a variety of third-party apps, including live streaming and on-demand services. You can now enjoy a wider range of content directly on your smart TV.
If your TV doesn’t recognize the USB drive, try formatting it to FAT32 (make sure to back up any existing files first) or use a different USB drive.
In case of installation failure, restart your TV and repeat the steps. Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve the issue.
