Main structure and working principle
The instrument is primarily composed of a mechanical stretching device, a temperature control system, and an LCD display for real-time data monitoring.
1. Mechanical Stretching Device
Driven by a low-speed motor, the system uses a gear box to drive a rack and pinion mechanism, allowing the stretching arm to move back and forth between two ends. The transmission system includes a shifting mechanism that offers two adjustable stretching speeds: 50 mm/min and 10 mm/min, providing flexibility depending on the test requirements.
2. Temperature Control System
This system includes components such as compressors, condensers, fans, heaters, pumps, and water tanks. The pump circulates water through the system, and the temperature can be adjusted between 5°C and 50°C using an adjustable thermostat. This ensures precise environmental conditions during testing.
3. Ductility Liquid Crystal Display
The LCD screen provides direct readouts of the extension lengths of three test samples. It also automatically calculates and displays the average value of the three specimens, enhancing accuracy and efficiency in data analysis.
The design of this equipment ensures reliable performance, ease of use, and accurate results, making it ideal for asphalt testing in laboratory or field settings.
