The use of FC-2G lightning protection device tester

The FC-2G Lightning Protection Device Tester (Varistor Tester) is designed to measure varistors by using a high-frequency pulse to drive a DC/DC converter that steps up the 12V DC input to the required high-voltage level. When testing discharge tubes, the slope control circuit manages the DC/DC converter to gradually increase the output voltage at a controlled rate of 100V per second, reaching between 5V and 1700V.
