Recently, at the request of the Supreme Court of India, search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft will screen ads on fetal gender identification and 22 keywords related to gender identification.
In July this year, the Supreme Court of India ordered Google, Microsoft and Yahoo to stop displaying gender-awareness kits, tools and clinic-related advertisements. At the time, the three companies stated that the requirement was technically impossible to achieve. However, the judge dismissed their claims and accused the three companies of "obviously violating Indian law. If it is not technically feasible, they are asked to leave the Indian market.

In order to achieve a more balanced male-female ratio, India banned the identification of fetal sex by ultrasound in 1994. However, many parents still identify them through illegal means.
According to the latest news today, Google agreed to the court's request that it would not be able to search the website for prenatal sex selection services; Yahoo did not allow comments, and Microsoft has not yet responded.
