Western media has highlighted that China is undergoing a genuine artificial intelligence revolution, with its technological capabilities now matching those of the current U.S. industry leader. Chinese national leaders have clearly positioned AI as a key strategic priority for the country. According to the new generation AI development plan released by the Chinese government in July, by 2020, China's overall AI technology and application will be on par with global leaders. By 2030, it aims to become a major center for AI innovation worldwide.
As reported by Spain's "National News" website on December 24, this strategic approach is already yielding results. On the positive side, Chinese AI companies are making significant progress in areas such as autonomous ships, AI systems for managing traffic in highly congested cities, early disease detection, and even predicting health issues before patients are aware of them. Additionally, AI-driven loan platforms help identify the most suitable borrowers and detect fraudulent activities effectively.
However, the report also notes that China's AI development still faces challenges. So far, most research has focused on facial and speech recognition technologies. Despite this, several companies are leading the way in practical applications. For example, Keda Xunfei, known for its 95% voice recognition accuracy, is also involved in public safety solutions. The company collaborates with the Chinese government to develop advanced monitoring systems capable of detecting suspicious sounds during phone calls. It also supplies voice recognition equipment to provincial public security systems across the country.
A sales manager from the University of Science and Technology stated, "We can definitely use AI to address public safety concerns." Their speech recognition system can detect specific words that may raise suspicion during a call. If these words appear in a certain sequence, the call is automatically terminated. This technology has helped law enforcement dismantle several telecom fraud rings, saving millions of dollars in potential losses.
According to the Spanish "National News," whether for security, defense, economic interests, or social welfare, there's no doubt that China is rapidly emerging as a global leader in artificial intelligence.
The report also highlights China's unique advantages. Its digital economy has reached $3.4 trillion, making up 30% of the GDP. With 751 million internet users and 1.39 billion mobile phone users, China generates massive amounts of data daily, providing a strong foundation for AI development and innovation.
Extra High Voltage Electric Pole
Uhv electrodes are tall structures used to support overhead transmission lines carrying extremely high voltage power. These poles are used to transmit power over long distances, often across large areas, sending power to remote areas or to different areas connected to the grid. Uhv poles are necessary to ensure the reliable and efficient delivery of electricity to meet the increasing demand for electricity in modern society.
