At present, a new generation of mobile broadband communication technology, 4G technology, is entering a period of vigorous development. The TD-LTE technology developed by China is the follow-up evolution technology of the international 3G standard TD-SCDMA, and has now become one of the mainstream international standards of 4G. Its maximum downlink rate exceeds 100Mbps, which is 20 times the current 3G network.
At present, Beijing's "4G Project" has deployed 11 projects in three areas including innovative application development, core product and key equipment development, and major technological breakthroughs, supporting more than 40 million yuan in science and technology. At the same time, TD-LTE technology has established scale test networks in many domestic cities, and the scale test networks of some cities have completed the first phase of test work. This year, a 4G scale test network of TD-LTE standard will also be built in Beijing. At this stage, Beijing's 4G technology is in a critical period of core technology and product research, and it is expected to enter the commercial stage in the next 3 to 5 years.
In addition, in terms of "precision machine engineering", the Municipal Science and Technology Commission has deployed 9 projects to support the needs of key industries such as aerospace and automotive, supporting more than 50 million yuan in science and technology.
In his speech, Gou Zhongwen pointed out that the implementation of these two technological innovation projects is conducive to enhancing the independent innovation capabilities of high-end CNC equipment and 4G industry, promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and industrialization, and promoting the sound and rapid development of the capital economy. At the same time, he put forward three guidelines for the implementation of the two projects: "focus on technological innovation, adhere to demand-oriented, and coordinate overall promotion", and hope that all parties involved in the construction of the project will work together to make bold innovations for the construction "Humanities Beijing, Science and Technology Beijing, Green Beijing" made positive contributions.
