Ladies and gentlemen, dear colleagues, and honored guests, Good afternoon, everyone! It's a great pleasure for me to be here at the first International IC E-commerce Credit Forum. E-commerce has become a powerful economic model that benefits people all over the world. It offers cost-effective and efficient solutions for trade across different regions and has now become an essential part of our daily lives. Shenzhen, as the largest online trading hub for electronic components and jewelry in China, boasts a large and active online community, a strong economic foundation, top-tier technical talent, and advanced infrastructure. Additionally, the city’s e-commerce policies have created favorable conditions for growth. Companies like China’s e-Supplier Network are driving innovation and bringing new energy to the local e-commerce ecosystem. As a public welfare research institution under the Shenzhen Municipal Market Supervision Administration, the Shenzhen Institute of Standard Technology focuses on standardization research, service, and application. We have made significant progress in building a credit system for e-commerce, laying a solid foundation for further standardization efforts. Wang Dawei, Vice President of the Shenzhen Institute of Standard Technology We have established the "Shenzhen E-Commerce Enterprise Standards Alliance," which continuously improves the industry standard system based on the needs of Shenzhen’s e-commerce sector. Our goal is to accelerate the development of integrity systems, certification processes, transaction protocols, product coding, electronic documentation, and key areas such as e-commerce exchanges, online payments, and consumer protection. By promoting collaboration among leading enterprises, we aim to create complementary advantages, share resources, and optimize the industrial chain through alliance standards. This effort helps set domestic benchmarks and strengthens the position of Shenzhen e-commerce companies in both national and global markets. The alliance actively promotes resource sharing, supports government policy-making, and enhances the competitiveness of its members. For instance, it fosters consensus on e-commerce standardization, adopts international best practices, and works to turn alliance standards into regional, national, or even global standards. It also serves as a platform for information exchange, training, and cooperation, helping members improve their operations and maintain good relationships with consumers. To date, we have contributed over 10 national e-commerce standards, including the "E-Commerce Theme Identity Certification" standard, which aims to regulate e-commerce credit qualifications. Companies like China’s e-Supplier Network have played a vital role in raising the overall quality of Shenzhen’s e-commerce environment. Since 2008, we have been closely following e-commerce standardization. We understand the current state of e-commerce standards in Shenzhen and across China, as well as the challenges—such as an incomplete standard system, poor coordination, limited international reach, weak market adaptability, and low awareness. These issues require joint efforts from the Shenzhen Institute of Standard Technology and all of you present today to address. The future of Shenzhen’s e-commerce industry is bright.
