When compared to its predecessors, the new Chinese V3 showcases some striking updates in design. The vehicle features a silver grille with vertical banners paired with dynamic headlights that give the front a much more energetic appearance. Additionally, it sports a newly designed front bumper that's far more aggressive than the previous version. The front fascia has become more intricate, enhancing the overall sporty vibe.
The new V3 boasts dimensions of 4240/1803/1600mm (length/width/height) and maintains a wheelbase of 2570mm. Compared to the existing model, it gains an additional 40mm in length and 13mm in width, while the height and wheelbase remain unchanged. The roofline is designed to appear suspended, and the side panels retain their familiar lines. The taillights on either side are separated but connected by the license plate area, creating a more layered effect.
At the rear, the lower section has undergone a redesign with a dual-exhaust layout featuring chrome trim for a sportier look. A black bumper is adorned with a continuous silver strip, ensuring that the vehicle doesn’t lose any sense of balance or stability.
Inside, the new V3 comes equipped with a 10.4-inch central control LCD screen, flanked by air conditioning vents on both sides. It also features a brand-new three-spoke flat-bottom multifunction steering wheel, along with a refreshed instrument panel and a more stylish center console design than its current counterparts.
In terms of power, the new model will be available with the same 1.5L and 1.5T engines found in the current model, delivering maximum outputs of 112 horsepower and 150 horsepower, respectively, with peak torque figures of 145 Nm and 220 Nm. Transmission options include a five-speed manual and an automatic five-speed gearbox.
With these enhancements, the new Chinese V3 aims to offer a modern driving experience while maintaining the reliability and practicality that have made its predecessors popular among consumers.
